Jacob Have I Loved

Louise is the elder of the two Bradshaw girls, though only by a few minutes. Not that it made any difference: from the moment Caroline was born she had always had everyone’s love and attention. There was none left over for Louise. Or that’s how it seems – until the day that Caroline leaves the island and Louise slowly discovers that she, too, is loved and needed. A memorable story of a young girl’s growing independence.
