Jesus

A truly beautiful picture book, in which Brian Wildsmith sets out the life of Jesus: his birth, his childhood in Nazareth, his baptism and temptation, his teaching and miracles, and finally the entry in to Jerusalem, culminating in his death and resurrection.

Brian Wildsmith is one of the great figures of children’s illustration of the 20th century, and celebrated forty years of publishing with OUP in 2002

Brian’s work has been consistently ground-breaking: his first books were published using revolutionary printing techniques, and he has even published a book with a Japanese princess

There is a museum in Kyoto dedicated solely to his paintings, which attracts visitors from all around the world
