Ladder to the Sky

Long ago, the Ojibway tribe lived in happiness and enjoyed good health. But one day things began to change…sickness and death were sent down by the Great Spirit and the people had to learn how to heal themselves with the flowers and herbs of the earth. This dramatic and powerful tale recreates an idyllic time in the life of the Ojibway people. Richly coloured, beautifully detailed illustrations incorporate traditional Ojibway patterns and motifs.
