Land Use

This new series focuses on some key aspects of our nation. Aboriginal Australia takes a comprehensive look at Australia’s indigenous population both in an historic and present-day sense. Weather and Climate covers the great differences that occur in this area across the continent. Land Use looks at the types of land we have and the many and varied ways it is utilised. And in Capital Cities the reader is given a thorough overview of our major centres of government and population. A website watch on each spread directs a reader to relevant websites.

Suitable for year levels 5-8.
