Maggie Magic

Imaginatively illustrated in two colours, this stylish first reader uses several different media – posters, letters, signs – to tell the story of Maggie Magic, a lollipop lady with a difference! Everyone loves Maggie, but when she cartwheels into an uptight parent, the headmistress gives her the sack. Soon the whole school is up in arms, and stages a sit-down strike to get her reinstated.
