Mandela

Mandela is a graphic retelling of Mandela’s story which gives children a visual snapshot of his life and long fight for freedom, while educating them on everything from the history of racial segregation to the importance of equality. You may already know that Nelson Mandela ended apartheid in South Africa and became the country’s first Black president, but did you know that he used brilliant disguises to avoid being captured by his enemies? Or that he loved boxing?
