On Our Way to the Beach

A child describes her family’s journey towards the sea and the fun they make for themselves on the way: picking strawberries, cooking corn cobs in a camp fire, sleeping under the stars. Each night she dreams what the beach might look like, and her dreams incorporate the excitement of the day’s adventures. But when they reach their destination, the reality of the beach surpasses everything she has imagined.
