This book sets itself apart from the rest by featuring a series of photographs of his mother’s tummy getting bigger and bigger, and beautiful and discreet colour photographs of the beginnings of labour.

Catherine Deveny

Catherine Deveny is a comedy writer and stand-up comedian whose television work includes many notable Australian programs. She was a regular co-host of ABC 774’s ‘The Loading Zone’. She has been a regular columnist for The Age newspaper for the last five years and her work appears frequently in Australian and overseas publications. Deveny is also the author of Babies, Bellies and Blundstones. She is currently working as a writer on Network Ten’s ‘Rove Live’ and ‘Skithouse’.

Mario Borg has been a photojournalist for over 25 years. He has worked around the world and his pictures have appeared in all the major newspapers as well as overseas publications. He has also worked for National Geographic, UNESCO and on various other books and publications. Catherine and Mario live in Moreland, Victoria.
