Pony Club

New series from DK designed to help kids learn how to read and learn to love reading. Pony Club is a ‘Confident’ reader, perfect for children who are proficient readers, developing the habit of reading widely for both pleasure and information. DK Reads proves that good reads build great readers. Emma adores horses as much as she idolises her older sister and dreams about riding a cinnamon-coloured horse in a show alongside her sister one day. At horse-riding camp, Emma’s wish looks like it’s about to come true, but it’s not such a smooth ride. Plus, meet horses from myths and legends, learn how to groom a horse, and get a recipe to bake sweet pony cupcakes! Pony Club is part of the new DK Reads series, a three-level reading scheme that helps children become confident readers, featuring engaging and illustrated topics. DK Reads is created in consultation with literacy experts and adheres to leveled reading scheme guidelines so the grammar, vocabulary, and content are spot on for each stage.
