Promise: The Town That Never Forgets

By Derek Guille · Illustrated by Kaff Eine

Told in both English and French, this is the story of the town of Villers-Bretonneux and the Australian soldiers who fought there and saved the town from German occupation during World War I. A promise was made never to forget Australia and they didn’t. The town raised money to help rebuild a school in Victoria after the bushfires of 2007.
