Purple Alert!

By Paul Stewart About · Illustrated by Chris Riddell

They’re purple, they’re blobby, they’re very, very silly – The Blobheads.

The great computer is never wrong. The Blobheads think that it has the answer to every conundrum in the Cosmos – but Billy Barnes is not so sure.

So when the computer’s alarm goes off, Zerek, Kerek and Derek take it VERY seriously. It’s Purple Alert – and the Blobheads want Billy’s help!

Paul Stewart

Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell are the geniuses behind the phenomenally successful Edge Chronicles, the Rabbit and Hedgehog picture books and, for Macmillan, The Blobheads. They both have hugely successful careers separately, Paul as a writer of children’s books and Chris as an illustrator and cartoonist for the New Statesman and the Observer. They both live in Brighton, where they met picking up their children from school.
