Rainforest

A 40-page book, including 8 pages of acetate, for the 8-plus / family reference market, and intended for a global readership. The book takes the reader on a stunning journey around the world’s tropical rainforests, examining the different layers of the rainforest environment and the diversity of its wildlife, including animal behaviour and habitats. It also looks at how humans have interacted with the rainforests, from the ancient Mayas and Aztecs through to present day. Twelve fact-packed information spreads are divided into four sections. In each section, a transparent acetate spread turns over to reveal amazing details not normally visible to the naked eye, such as how a meat-eating plant disposes of its prey and the dangerous creatures lurking beneath a flooded forest.
