Reading Magic

Humorous, practical, warmly anecdotal and inspiring, Reading Magic shows parents that reading aloud for ten minutes a day can help your child be successful for life!
Reading Magic will help parents know what to read aloud to children, how to read aloud to children and when to read aloud to children. Reading Magic is not just about knowing how to read and write, but how these skills make successful people. Read aloud to your child and watch him or her succeed.
In 2001 Pan Macmillan first published this ground breaking book by internationally bestselling children’s author and literacy expert Mem Fox…
Now in 2004, the Federal Opposition Leader Mark Latham has launched an $80 million education policy called Read Aloud Australia based on Mem Fox’s impassioned plea to parents to read aloud to children from birth. He has pledged three free books to every child in the first six months of life saying: Mem Fox gave me the best advice anyone has ever given me, to read aloud three stories a night to my children. I know now, from my own experience, that it’s the greatest gift I can give them.
