Renoir and Me

A lively and beautifully illustrated children’s guide to the life and work of the French impressionist artist Jean Renoir.

‘I’m like a little cork thrown into the water and carried away by the current, I paint whatever comes to me. I do not have any rules, nor techniques…’ This is what Renoir tells us about himself.
Renoir was a painter who believed in doing his own thing and his portraits of young girls and children and his sunny landscapes are filled with joy and light. Illustrated in colour with wonderful images, the book contains projects and games to delight young readers and help them enter the unforgettable world of Renoir’s paintings.
