Rosie the Cow Who Wanted to Slim

By Christel Desmoinaux

Rosie is a plump happy cow that gives creamy milk to Farmer Jules. She wants to star in her favourite magazine, but when Rosie looks in the mirror she decides she is too fat and goes on a diet. Farmer Jules is in despair. He pleads with her, he begs her and argues with her to no avail. One day after seeing herself, Rosie is horrified at what she has become. A thought provoking story for young readers.
