Sea Turtles

You may think that sea turtles are lazy ocean reptiles that spend their days floating through the deep blue sea scooping up algae and plants. But you’re wrong. Sea turtles aren’t lazy at all! In fact, if there were an ocean Olympics, sea turtles would definitely get a medal in swimming. These long distance marathoners spend their entire lives travelling the ocean to find food and a mate. And they have a great sense of direction, returning to lay their eggs on the exact beach where they were born. In this level 2 reader, kids will learn everything they ever wanted to know about these fascinating animals.
