Sight

One of a series covering all the senses and based on the requirements of the Key Stage One science curriculum, “Sight” begins by examining the different things we see before looking at how eyes work. It also covers what happens when people can’t see well or at all, and how animals see. The illustrations and examples refer to a child’s likely everyday experiences so making the information accessible to the youngest readers. Notes for parents and teachers include suggestions for learning activities that reinforce the information in the book. The book also includes a list of further reading and resources. Mike Gordon is a highly successful illustrator whose work for Wayland has established a respected information books brand.
