So Super Starry

Octavia Clairbrook-Cleeve wants just one thing: to be normal. But what chance is there of that at Darlinham House School – where t’ai chi, feng shui and media studies are the biggest subjects on the curriculum and where she’s surrounded by “the Darlings” – loaded “blonde pygmies” like India, Asia and Twinkle!

Octavia’s mum – star of a US sitcom – despairs of her daughter’s lack of hunger to be photographed at the right party, in the right dress, on the arm of Mr Right. But then Octavia meets handsome, A-list Alexis – and finds herself catapulted suddenly, horrifyingly, right into the glossy, name-dropping world she has tried so hard to avoid.

But can a too-tall, unglamorous girl like Octavia ever really belong at the top?
