Something About Water

Just about everybody I know recycles stuff. They say theyre MAKING A DIFFERENCE. They say theyre helping to SAVE THE PLANET. So what is good about scratchy brown loo paper made from old cardboard boxes and saving your shower water in a bucket to water the garden with? And why are some people so excited about recycling their newspapers? Robbies grandad collects his ginger beer bottles and takes them to the recycling centre. But his mum says that the water they put on the lettuce seedlings could have had dinosaurs swimming in it! Thats a lot to think about. Mr Fowler, Robbies teacher at school, explains how the water cycle works, and says theres a lot kids can do to help the planet. This book shows how small things can make a big difference
