Tai’s Penguin

Tai's Penguin

Every year Tai and Mum go to the same beach for their holiday. This year, on the night they arrive, there’s a huge storm – a ten-year storm. And next morning, among all the debris on the beach, Tai finds a tiny penguin, barely alive. Can he save the penguin? What should he do? How can he and Mum help?
Tai’s concern for the little penguin, and a clear-eyed look at the practical difficulties involved in caring for wild animals that are lost or ill, make for a tender, absorbing story.
