Terrorism

This series supports the study of issues and events of importance to the Australia community by looking at several issues that are newsworthy on both a local and global scale. What is the impact of these issues on the everyday life of Australians? What are the differing viewpoints and debates surrounding these issues? Features of each book include profiles of significant people and organisations, quotations, timelines, flow charts and tables. Suitable for 12-16 year olds.

Terrorism is an issue that can affect the entire world. Many people are convinced it is only a matter of time before a terrorist attack occurs on Australian soil, but Australia has already suffered terrorist attacks on its own soil. Read about the terrorist attacks Australia has suffered, and discover what terrorism is, why it exists, and what is being done to deal with it, both in Australia and other countries.
