The Best Day Ever

From inspired picture-book creator Polly Dunbar, this televised series follows the escapades of Tilly and her friends. Tilly and her friends are having a play day at home. There’s painting, dressing up, tiddly winks…and all sorts of sandwiches for lunch. When Tilly realizes this is the Best Day Ever, she and her friends want to make sure they’ll always remember it and they decide to make a scrapbook. But how can they squeeze so many big memories into one small book? Tilly and Friends is currently airing on CBeebies, with 52 episodes in the series. Utterly charming artwork, delicious palette, gentle humour and winsome characters have deservedly made this a series of winners. It comes from the bestselling author and illustrator of Penguin (9781844280650) which was the winner of the 0-5 Nestle Silver Award 2007 and the 2007 Booktrust Early Years Award in the pre-school category.
