The Big Move

Making Connections provides an explicit framework to teach comprehension skills. It offers:
explicit instruction in comprehension skills and strategies
texts that are written specifically for each skill
The Making Connections Comprehension Library provides authentic texts which allow students to apply their comprehension skills in a real-world context. Inside the back cover of each book are critical literacy activities for the whole class, groups or individual students.
