The Cockroach War

In the suburb of Dagenham, the Judges and the Cadwalladers live next door to each other in complete peace. In fact, they are great friends until the day the Cadwalladers win $40 million in a one-off game of ‘Lotto of a Lifetime’.
Overnight, relations between the two families deteriorate. Mr Cadwallader becomes obnoxious and egotistical, Mrs Cadwallader loses her mind (literally!), and Shaun and Ian Cadwallader become total snobs. What’s more, the Cadwalladers pull down their house and build a new three-storey, nine-bedroom mansion, complete with pool, gym, triple garage, conservatorium and three-metre fence. And then there’s the deafening, non-stop, late-night parties… The Judges try to reason with the Cadwalladers, but to no avail — life has indeed become a living hell.

According to Mr and Mrs Judge, the only solution is to sell up. But their children — Toby and Emma — have other ideas in mind. Cunningly, they invent a unique way to control cockroaches with an electronic handset…and before they know it, they’ve got battalions!

But can they collect and control enough cockroaches to infest the Cadwalladers’ house and drive them away before their own house is sold? Of course they can!
