The Complete Adventures of Peter Rabbit

The four Beatrix Potter stories that feature Peter rabbit are brought together in one volume so that his escapades can be followed as a continuous saga. After his adventures as a young rabbit in Mr. McGregor’s garden, Peter grows up to be a respectable nursery gardener who sometimes helps out his ‘improvident’ but cheerful relations, sister Flopsy and her husband, Cousin Benjamin, with a cabbage or two. They are unlucky with their offspring. The first family, the Flopsy Bunnies, are the victims of the soporific effect of lettuces and fall into the hands of the dreaded Mr. McGregor, and in The Tale of Mr. Tod, a second family is kidnapped by Tommy Brock, the badger, and this time Peter himself is called on to help with the rescue. The stories appear here with their full text and all their original pictures.
