The Crowstarver

Set in the English countryside between World Wars, the reader shares a small community’s daily life as it revolves around Spider, a changeling child left with the shepherd Tom and his wife Kath. These two gentle and loving souls accept the growing child with his obvious differences and their love and tolerance allow Spider to gradually display his remarkable skills.
