The Divine Wind

By Garry Disher About

Set in Broome during World War II the story traces the relationships between Australian and Japanese families as the outbreak of war changes their perceptions of each other. The influences of propaganda, community fears and prejudices combined with the realities of war make this book an essential literature component in a unit on War, particularly for Years 7-10.
