Ma has made a dozen cookies for Victoria and Sam to share (six for each). “No one makes cookies like Grandma,” says Ma as the doorbell rings. Two friends are welcomed in to share the cookies (three for each now) with the happy chorus, “No one makes cookies like Grandma.” The doorbell rings twice more, each time heralding more and more children and fewer and fewer cookies to go around. With twelve cookies and twelve hungry children, the doorbell rings AGAIN…, bringing a mouth watering picture book to its satisfying conclusion.
