The Hidden

Thrown out of home by his penny-pinching step-mother, Matt flees Fremantle aboard a boat, only to be bullied and brutalised by the bosun.Called a ‘half-caste bastard’, Jess is part of neither the white world of her father, nor the black world of her dead mother’s people. Lost and alone, she is haunted and hunted. Both are on the run and in hiding, but it’s only a matter of time before they can no longer keep their feelings for each other hidden. Perhaps together they can escape the past and learn to trust again.
