The Last Muster

Shane and his friend Red, granddaughter of an old Aboriginal stockman, live on a cattle station in the high escarpment country of the Kimberleys. The two are bound by their love of horses and their close relationship with the land – a relationship that is now threatened by the demands of big business. Shane is looking for spearheads when he discovers a herd of wild horses led by a magnificent quarterhorse stallion. His determination to capture and tame the stallion is the pivot for an engrossing story about land rights and Aboriginal and white relationships.
