The Reluctant Dragon

A splendidly illustrated version of Kenneth Grahame’s classic tale.
Dragons are a scourge and must be got rid of – that’s what all the villagers say.
It doesn’t seem to matter that this particular dragon wouldn’t hurt a fly. He doesn’t
want to fight, but it seems he will have no choice when St George arrives on his
huge warhorse, carrying the wickedest-looking spear you ever did see. All is not lost,
though, for the dragon does have one friend – the shepherd’s son, a small boy with
a great deal of sense and imagination. Perhaps he can help find a solution to the
reluctant dragon’s problem…
