The Wheels on the Bus

Hold The Wheels on the Bus in your hands and you will see what has made it so endlessly popular with children. This favourite play rhyme and song is now a picture book with parts that actually move: the wheels on the bus really do go round and round, the people do step out and in and the wipers do go swish swish swish. More than a book and better than a toy, this is a treat for young and old. And now with a sparkly, shimmery, eye-catching cover! “This book is my favourite pop-up book, and my nine month old son can’t get enough of it. The illustrations are beautifully painted and the moving parts are ingenious — the wheels spin, the doors open and close, the wipers go back and forth, even the babies “cry”! The pictures are packed with detail and close examination uncovers little sub-plots about run-away dogs and lost kittens. I’ve given both these books as presents to several children and they are always a huge hit.”
