Tilly's Treasure

Tilly’s dad doesn’t have a lot of money, so for Tilly clean-up week is like a treasure hunt. But nothing she can find compares with what the other girls bring to school. They are always up with the latest craze, whether it’s hula hoops or skipping ropes or mood rings. Tilly tries to keep up, but she always feels left out. In the end, though, her dad gives her an idea, and she starts a craze all by herself – weaving strands of grass, scoubidou style. It doesn’t cost a thing, it’s fun – and all the girls (and boys) want her to teach them how to do it!
