Triple Ripple: A Fabulous Fairytale

Triple Ripple is a tale within a tale within a tale, where the boundaries slip and a writer’s magic interweaves into the lives of a royal maid and a princess, a modern teenager and the author herself. The Writer begins with a sparkly good idea, creates a place, adds characters (not boring ones), then gives them adventures, big and small. Glory is sent to work as a maid in the Royal Palace. Can she help the petulant princess? Can she find love? And escape a fatal curse? Nova has lost her best friend and bitchy Dylan is hassling her. Can she find solace in a good book? And make peace with Dylan? Can the Writer make everything turn out happily ever after? Or are there always going to be lumps and bumps along the way? With candour and affectionate humour, Brigid Lowry invites us into the creative struggle of writing, in a story where readers will recognise their own hopes and dreams.
