Valentine's Day Disaster

Who is Geronimo Stilton? That’s me! I run a newspaper, but my true passion is writing tales of adventure. Here in New Mouse City, the capital of Mouse Island, my books are all bestsellers! My stories are full of fun – tastier than Swiss cheese and tangier than extra-sharp cheddar. They are whisker-licking-good stories, and that’s a promise! It was Valentine’s Day in New Mouse City, and love was in the air. I couldn’t wait to celebrate! I had sent valentines to all my friends and family members. But when I opened my mailbox on February 14th, it was empty! Had my friends forgotten about me? Was I destined to spend the most romantic day of the year alone in my mouse hole, sobbing into a box of chocolate cheesy chews? This Valentine’s Day was shaping up to be a real disaster!
