Welcome to Narnia

Meet the Pevensies! With accessible text reinforced by full-colour illustrations, this film tie-in was created for the beginner reader. In 2003, “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” was ninth in the BBC’s Big Read, the biggest ever survey among adults of popular fiction. That a ‘children’s book’ should be in the top 10 proved to any doubters that C.S. Lewis’s fantasy stories have the magic to engage even the most hardened adults. On 9 December 2005, Andrew (Shrek) Adamson’s live-action film adaptation of “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” will be released by Disney, and it is already being hailed as the biggest film franchise of all time, guaranteed to appeal to adults and children across the globe. A second film is already in development. Sporting breathtaking new photographic covers, these new children’s film tie-in editions of “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” now give everyone an opportunity to experience the new feature film adventure. Read what everyone will be talking about by Christmas and savour once more some of the best-loved stories ever written.
