Wendy's Whale

Set over a number of years on Kangaroo Island, Wendy’s Whale tells of the impact a pod of Southern Right whales has on Wendy and the community. A calf is born, becomes beached and is rescued dramatically. When park ranger Bob tells Wendy ‘there is only one living creature that every living creature on earth has to fear’ the reader is aware that the greed and thoughtlessness of many may mean extinction.
