Where in the World

By Simon French About

This is a beautifully written novel about an ordinary boy with an extraordinary gift. Ari and his mother move from Germany to Australia and it takes him time to get to know his new stepfather and to learn to live in a new place. Leaving behind his beloved Grandfather is a big wrench but they talk on the phone and e-mail each other regularly. He hides his talent from everyone except his family but he realizes that his music has always been the key to all his memories and with his newly found confidence it may even be the key to his future. A great read for those 9+
