Willow Tree and Olive

Willow Tree and Olive is a very sensitive yet powerful novel. It deals with a young
woman’s search for who she is, with the difficulty of straddling two cultures and the
trauma of coming to terms with the recently reawakened memories of an abusive
incident in her childhood. While there are a number of themes in the novel, there is a
focus on identity and relationships, particularly friendships between women.
