Wombat Goes Walkabout

Wombat digs the deepest hole he’s ever dug and crawls into the darkness, but when he climbs out he can’t find his mother. Wandering through the bush he meets many wonderful creatures. None of them think much of the small wombat until danger threatens and he comes up with a brilliant idea. This touching story is complemented by the stunning illustrations capturing the essence of the Australian bush.
