The Billycart Ride

Our dad made us a billycart we christened Lightning Runner;
he hammered in the shed all night and built an outright stunner.
The morning when he rolled her out the thing he told us last
was, ‘Careful how you handle her, she’s built to go real fast.’

When Michael takes the magnificent Lightning Runner for a spin on the highest hill in the neighbourhood, Lightning reaches breakneck speed and everyone gets a little more action than they’d bargained for.

This pacy adventure is a rollicking read that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
