Dog on the Job

That heeler Sheila has been getting far too much attention for helping to find Old Ben and track down the crooks. So Alice, the Green family’s faithful labrador, decides that she’ll get a bit of the star treatment herself! She’s top dog round Animal Haven, after all, and she’s got a nose for adventure—so she’ll use it.

When Alice hears that the Angels have seen abalone poachers in the area and suspect that they are heading for Apollo Bay, she takes off.

Lucky for her, Eddy the cockatoo follows her and leads the Greens to her when they finally notice that she’s not around.

Unluckily for Eddy, however, cockatoos bring good money in the international bird-smuggling market, and Eddy falls foul of one fisherman who knows how much he can get for him, but the Greens rescue Eddy just in time.

With the whole family and the police on the trail, there’s no way the poachers will get away now.

Still no one seems to care that it’s Alice who has done most of the hard work. So off she goes again!

Another fast-paced and funny adventure in this terrific series
