What Makes You Do That?

‘Why am I losing my temper?’. ‘Why am I acting grumpy?’. This important book prompts children to question certain behaviours and why they happen. Addressing common situations sympathetically and humorously, What Makes You Do That? answers key behavioural concerns and encourages children to self-reflect, consider how their actions affect others and manage their emotions. Written in child-friendly language, this great dip-in book explores 12 typical behaviours that children engage in, such as temper tantrums, telling lies or cheating, and offers 12 constructive behaviours to consider instead, like how to stay calm, be honest or play fairly.
